Talking Point #56 – “death for apostasy” keeps Islam alive

Over our time together, we’ve talked about a lot of differences between God (of the Bible) and the false god of Islam, the Son of God, Jesus Christ (of the Bible) and the imposter known as Isa created by the god of Islam to trip the less-educated-about-Islam people, especially those in Christianity who he wants to draw into a “we all serve the same god” mentality.  We’ve talked about the differences between the writings in the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran (each time you get your hands on a copy of the Quran, take time to strike through the word “Holy” to make your point) and proven that they can’t be from the same author.  Please take a look at the “Talking Points” page on our site where all the topics are listed and see the many ways we’ve compared the Jesus (of the Bible) to jesus in the Quran.  But notice also the many times you’ve read about violence in the “religion of peace” (I always laugh when I write, read, or hear that term).  With all of that, what would keep someone involved in it?  Is it brainwashing?  Is it mental illness from all the in-breeding (not joking – see stories like this video at Youtube:

Is it fear of death?  Fear of retaliation from even those who perhaps love you?

Maybe that’s it, but how can we prove that?  The good news is, we don’t have to.  It’s been done for us.  Muhammad is quoted as saying “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57).  You do remember that the Muslim is bound by his religion to “imitate” his beloved pedophile, right?  So the death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.  Muhammad says…people do!  But wait, there’s more recent proof as well.

Yusuf Al Qaradawi, leader of the global Muslim Brotherhood movement (you’ve heard of them lately because of their triumph in Egypt and because of their involvement behind the scenes with so many of our top government officials right here in the United States), has released a video explaining that if there were not a punishment for leaving Islam, there would be no more Islam!  Here’s the entire transcript of the video, followed by the video for you to watch.

“If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment Islam wouldn’t exist today; Islam would have ended since the death of the Prophey (peace death be upon him).  So, opposing apostasy is what kept Islam to this day.  Sura 5:33 says “The punishment of those who wage war against allah and his apostle is that they should be murdered or crucified.”  According to Abi Kulaba’s narration verse means the apostates.  And many hadiths, not only one or two, but many, narrated by a number of Muhammad’s companions, state that any apostate should be killed.  Ibn ‘Abbas’s hadith:  “Kill whomever changes his faith (from Islam).”  Ibn Mas’us hadith:  “Kill these three criminals: the adulterer, the murderer, and the apostate that leaves (our) community.”  This is in addition to a big number of other narrations, by other companions, about apostasy.”

And now the video – please click the link below to view.  It is less than 2 minutes long.

Top Muslim cleric says Islam would not exist if not for death of apostasy threat

Do you think that the God of the Bible will allow to dispense your faith and leave?  Yes, He will.  It’s called apostasy (same as the word used above), and you’ll never again be allowed into the courts of salvation, but yes, you can leave the faith if you want to.  Others, those around you in the church, perhaps your family, etc., may (and probably will) try to talk to you to prevent such a drastic change, and they’ll always love you (even to the point of denying that there remains no salvation for the apostate and will, therefore, try to draw you back in); but no one will try to kill you for leaving.  God won’t.  Men won’t.  There is no order in the Bible to kill the apostate.  None of the Bible’s prophets ever prophesied killing for apostasy.  Why?  Because the God of the Bible is not the same as the god of Islam and this is just one more area in which they differ.  The God of the Bible loves you, even if you choose not to love Him back.  He will let you surrender yourself to the fires of Hell if that is what you choose, but He won’t force you to do so and He won’t kill you for doing so.  In fact, as He banishes you from His courts, He’ll probably cry over your loss.  How many tears do you think the god of Islam has ever shed for man?

Of course there are commands to kill in the Bible.  But do your homework before you apply those commands to apostasy.  Those commands, as we talked about in Talking Point #55, apply to sin and to people that are too far gone, those to whom God has given a reprobate mind, if you will, because of their lack of love for Him.  He didn’t make their decisions…they did.  The examples do not match up.

At some point, even the leaders of Christian groups bent towards preaching sameness between the two will have to realize that the God of the Bible is not the same as the god of Islam, and…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!
