Talking Point #51 – take heed that no man deceive you

When you look for deception in the Islamic world, you don’t need to look far.  The Quran itself is chock full of deception and this short post is going to offer you some morsels for thought.  Two previous posts, Talking Point #6 and Talking Point #50 have centered on deception.  Well, I guess to be fair to Islam, all previous Talking Points have centered on deception, but these two have “deception” in their titles.  If you haven’t done so already, you should read them in conjunction with this one.  It doesn’t matter the order you read them, but read them.

“Chrislam” proponents want to explain to you that “we all serve the same god.”  From the point of view of Chrislam, the Muslim must be saved because he worships the god of Abraham.  Surely, again from the point of view of Chrislam, there must be some “common ground” between us that can be found and used as a beginning point to discuss eternity.  But to address that, I say let’s look at the Bible and see what God (of the Bible) thinks of common ground.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”
Isaiah 14:12-15

You see, when Lucifer tried to establish common ground between himself and Yehovah God (of the Bible), God kicked him completely out of Heaven!  Can you imagine what a “pride buster” that was for Lucifer, who, of course, would go on to become Satan?  And do you think for one minute that he is over that?  No!  It was his pride that got him in trouble in the first place (see the quote above) and when it was bruised, the same pride made him (and still makes him today) angry and vengeful!  God (of the Bible) made it clear that there was no common ground between them then, and there is none today.

So why does man feel the need to manufacture this false “common ground” responsible for Chrislam?  When faced with such awful, yet real and undeniable, quotes from the Quran such as those you’re about to read, how can any man seek and, better yet, teach common ground and continue to pursue a path of destruction (not only for himself but for all those that will listen and attest to it)?

Here’s what the god of Islam has to say about his own deception:

“The hypocrites seek to deceive God, but it is He who deceives them.”
Sura 4:142

“They schemed – but God also schemed.  God is most profound in His schemings.”
Sura 8:30

“God revealed His will to the angels, saying…I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels.  Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers.”
Sura 8:12

*All quotes above are from the Quran and capitalization has not been altered by this author.  The word “God” as used above is how it is presented in the Quran and is NOT intended to mean Yehovah God (of the Bible), but the god of Islam.

This admission by the false moon god of Islam is almost as stunning as the revelation that he has no son!  Even still, those bent on pursuing the Chrislam deception will continue down their prosperous (for now) road.

So, is Yehovah God (of the Bible) a deceiver like the god of Islam?  I don’t think so.  If I read the following correctly, He pretty much tells us like it is:

“Surely GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
Amos 3:7

“Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.”
Proverbs 24:28

And, perhaps the most damning of all for the proponents of Chrislam:

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:4-5

How much more clear do we need to be?  How much more of God’s (of the Bible) Holy Word do we need to provide in order that both the Christian and the Muslim will see the difference and convert from falsehood to Truth and embrace ONLY TRUTH?  I truly hope Talking Points like this one can help in that fashion.

I’m going to give you one more nugget from God’s (of the Bible) Word.  In it, Paul, speaking to the church well after the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (of the Bible), reaffirms what Jesus told us above in Matthew.  He points directly at the churches that have and hold to a misguided story (like those in Snellville, Georgia).  He points them out, exposes the truth behind their schemes (seemed like the right word since we’re talking about deception), and calls them for what they are as he sees them.  Check out this warning, Christian, and fall back on it when you hear wrong coming from the pulpit:

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
Romans 16:17-18

Now take your fight against Chrislam to the street and stand without compromise.  Witness to all without compromise.  Disregard man’s doctrine and build your ground ONLY on God’s (of the Bible).  Your God, Christian, is not the same as the god of Islam, and…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!
