God (of the Bible) stated clearly in His Word that we should not add to nor take away from the words of the Bible. What He has given us is enough. We can read it (and I hope you do, daily!) and hear directly from Him. That’s its purpose. Everything that you can imagine has been addressed within the pages of the Bible and there is no situation that cannot be found within its pages to tell us how we should act or how He feels about such a situation. He has been clear, concise, and thorough. And He has warned us not to alter what He’s given us:
“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
“And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.”
1st Corinthians 4:6
“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
How many ways can God (of the Bible) be clear about us adhering to His Word and not adding to it or taking away from it?
On the other hand, right there in the same Word of God we read about the god of Islam, the serpent in the Garden of Eden and his first encounter with man. The very first thing he does is to make man second guess God’s Word:
“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
Can you see his antics glaring at you there? The first thing is to instill doubt “yea, hath God said…?” Then he continues to actually suggest that God is liar. Imagine that – the father of lies (see John 8:44) telling us that God lied! How preposterous!
And now, that same liar is a god (see Talking Point #5 and 2nd Corinthians 4:4) and has created a false religion called Islam, complete with its own special pedophile prophet who is also a murderer, a warlord, and who wrote the Quran – something completely outside of the Bible.
Now you have to ask yourself, whether you’re a Christian, a Muslim, or an embracer of “Chrislam” (of the “…we all serve the same god” heresy), why would God (of the Bible) go so far out of His Way to tell us not to add to or take away from His Word and then turn around and give a completely different book (by the way, one written entirely by one man, the pedophile himself) to a completely different group of people? We’ve hit on this subject before in small ways here and there, but it’s time to really grasp the whole of what Islam uses as “holy” material (each time you have the chance to do so, scratch through the word holy on the front of a Quran and then carry it proudly…there is nothing holy about it).
Unlike God (of the Bible) telling us that He has given a complete message in the Bible (66 books written by over 40 authors over a period of thousands of years, and each book in total and complete agreement with all of the others), the god of Islam chose to use one man to give his message of hatred, but he doesn’t stop there. He also advocates reading the Bible (yes, Muslims are told to read the Bible as well as the Quran), and the Sunnah (the life of Muhammad), which contains the Hadith (a collection of sayings and ramblings about the pedophile prophet). They have their own “trinity” of books plus the suggestion to read “the book” (that’s how the Bible is referred to in the Quran).
When confronted with “Chrislam” you have to ask how God of the Bible could possibly expect you to take Him seriously if He allowed this setup to happen. Therefore, you must know that He didn’t allow such a setup to happen through His divine appointment; rather, the false god of Islam, along with the serpents standing behind Christian pulpits today (Rick Warren and those who try to teach “jesus in/and the Quran” lessons being among the most vile of those) created this malpractice environment to cause you, Christian, to stumble. I know you don’t want to stumble, so get into the Word of God for yourself and learn, prove to yourself what you read here (certainly don’t take our word for it) and then stand strong against anything that originates outside of the Word!
God (of the Bible) gave us His Word through the prophets and authors mentioned in the Bible. When Islam, or any other false religion, comes along and says to you that you should pay attention to what they have which is found outside of God’s Word, you should know to run – run away from hell! – as fast as you can. Recognize that His Word tells you that you will encounter garbage like “Chrislam” and how you should react.
Please pray for those touting the shameful heresy of “Chrislam”. They honestly do not know better. Their eyes are closed shut, tight by the Holy Spirit. They are pursuing the second great commandment (love your neighbor) to the destruction of the first (love your God – see Matthew 22:36-40).
God did not do wrong when He completed the Scriptures and then decide to create more and other versions of Himself and His desires. There is no similarity between Islam and Christianity. The God of the Bible is not the god of Islam, and…
Jesus is NOT in the Quran!
