Talking Point #23 – one god, a god, THE God…give me a break!!

If you are a Believer, a follower of Jesus Christ (of the Bible), the Son of God (of the Bible), and are washed in His blood shed for you at Calvary, then you are one of a very privileged few who truly understand Yehovah God and His Word. What amazes me is that many (and I do mean MANY) who claim to serve Him do not have any insight into His Word. Without that, they simply lead many people wrong (see Matthew 5:19) and would confuse, if they could, those of us with True insight given by the Father. These are the people that would have you believe that the god of Islam is the same as the God of the Bible and that He (Yehovah) gave the Quran in addition to the Bible for people to grow closer to Him. NOTHING could be further from the truth…nothing. One point that they like to use is the “single god” theory. Let me explain, but first, if you haven’t read them already, please go now and read Talking Point #5 and Talking Point #22 to learn the basics about God, god, and false gods.

Now to the point. The Bible very clearly states that Yehovah God is the One and Only God. Besides Him, nothing else exists in reality. He stands alone as God. That’s a key point to the Christian and one that you must understand in order to truly serve Him. However, it’s also a point widely misused by those who would lead weaker Christians astray into a misguided path of “Chrislam”. The Bible proclaims in no less than 28 places the single uniqueness and majesty of Yehovah God, but my personal favorite for a complete and hard-to-misunderstand definition of His being the One and Only God is found in Isaiah:

“Ye are my witnesses, saith Yehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
Isaiah 43:10-11

The fact that He is the One and Only God is used against the Muslim and the Christian in explaining, *wrongly*, that the god of Islam is the same as the God of the Bible. Here’s what I mean – those that would try to trip up the weaker Christian and Muslim will use this fact to infer that because He is the only God, and because Islam has a god, then the god of Islam must be the God of the Bible. They say “one God, a god, THE God!” It’s amazing to me that men who proclaim to serve the Yehovah God of the Bible can so boldly come up with such a phrase and then use it against men.

Folks, you must recognize that, although Yehovah God (of the Bible) is indeed the ONLY GOD IN EXISTENCE, this in no way insinuates that the god of Islam is the same. The god of Islam is a black, dead, inanimate rock in Mecca with absolutely no power to redeem man from his sins. There is a satanic drive, a spiritual presence, behind the black rock moon god of Islam, but he is not the God of the Bible!

If you have a close, intimate relationship with Yehovah God, none of this is new to you. If you are his and He is your everything, no pastor in sheep’s clothing can change your mind about the Truth of Yehovah and His Son, Jesus (of the Bible). All you need to do is to read the Bible and Quran and compare the nature, the character of each of them and the difference will shine through. Look through the Talking Points posted here in this site and understand the proof of the difference. No, Christian, the god of Islam is not the God of the Bible, and…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!
