Talking Point #72 – The God of the Bible *IS* Love!

There’s a song that comes to mind regarding this title:  All You Need is Love.  Don’t get me wrong – I’m not a fan of the Beatles at all, but the tune is catchy and can certainly be applied here because, if you realize What and Who Love actually is, the chorus is true:

All you need is love.
All you need is love.
All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need.

If I may, I’d like to re-write that to make my point:

All you need is God (of the Bible).
All you need is God (of the Bible).
All you need is God, God.
God (of the Bible) is all you need.

Go and read Talking Point #69 and you’ll see that this could literally be expressed as:

All you need is Jesus (of the Bible).
All you need is Jesus (of the Bible).
All you need is Jesus, Jesus.
Jesus (of the Bible) is all you need.

You say, “Whoa!  Time out!  Do you mean to tell me that Jesus is ALL that I need, ever?  That He will fulfill all my needs and LOVE me forever?”  Yes!  I mean exactly that, and He is and will always be all that you will ever need!  But you have to know the difference between Jesus (of the Bible) and the many false, fake guys named jesus that will be presented to you during your life of study.  And be careful to know Him and recognize Him even in places in which you believe you should be safe from wrong teaching.  Even in the church in America today you’ll find other guys named jesus being taught and preached.  Let’s look at the difference between the Real One and those false ones now.

For openers, I have to prove that the God of the Bible is Love.  Where else would I look for such proof other than the Bible itself:

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.  Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  We love him, because he first loved us.  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”
1st John 4:7-21

Count the word “love” (or its variant) as highlighted in those verses.  How many did you get?  I see 25 times in those verses that love is used as an attribute of God or, in other words, is attributable to Him.  God is Love!  Love is God!  Do you want in?  Believe in His Son, Jesus Christ (of the Bible) (John 3:16) and experience it!!

Paul, the same one who warned us about false teachings of other guys named jesus (see below), told the church at Corinth exactly what love is.  With the following Biblical definition, it’s easy to see why the Bible and the Quran differ so much on love and why the God of the Bible exudes it while the god of the Islam shuns it.  In the following passage, the King James Version of the Bible uses the word charity.  Paul is talking about love (you know he is because you’ve heard the last verse many times in your life:  faith, hope, and love).  Refer to Blue Letter Bible (a very good online Bible study resource) to see that the word charity as it appears below is originally the word “agape”, Greek for love (see the Blue Letter Bible concordance breakdown of verse 1st Corinthians 13:1 for details).  Then, while reading the following, mentally replace the word charity with love each time you encounter it (and you can even check with other translations of the Bible as well for more accurate renderings of the chapter).

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
1st Corinthians 13:1-13

So we have a Biblical definition of love and we understand that God (Jesus Christ of the Bible) IS love, and we have a firm foundation for where we go from here and for what we’re looking.  But before we go too much further, we need to recall Paul’s warning about those who would preach another jesus:

“Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.  For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
2nd Corinthians 11:1-4

Here, Paul is telling the people to bear with him as he preaches to them about Jesus Christ, the King, the Messiah, the One Husband (as Paul describes Him), and teaching them about the striving to recognize our role as Bride of Messiah (wife to the One Husband), and in so doing, he warns them that others will come behind him and preach another jesus.  THIS IS HAPPENING TODAY!  He warns them NOT to accept this other jesus as being the real deal.  He will be a look-alike, but not the Savior.  Just as Paul warned us, Satan has found him and put him in the Quran for such a time as this – his name is Isa (translated as jesus to trip and trap you, Christian).  Watch out for teaching/preaching about him.  This is the prime example of a false jesus, and it begins with the fact that he has no love.

You say, “Wait, how can you possibly know that he has no love?”  For starters, you only find him mentioned in the Quran, so let’s look for love in the Quran.

For openers, the word love is mostly used within the pages of the Quran in the negative sense – Muslims are told not to love certain things more than others (items they may covet within the world for example).  I agree with this – no man should “covet” and love things of the world more than God.  But this love is, regardless of the sense it’s presented within the Quran, not the point of this post; rather, the point is to find love flowing from the false god of Islam to his servants.  So let’s keep the focus on him.

I don’t want to give the impression that the Quran paints a picture of their god as being unable to love.  He is able.  In fact, several places in the Quran show him loving people but in each instance it is conditional love based on some human action that has occurred in order to gain his love.  This is completely contrary to the unconditional love displayed by the God of the Bible when He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for all of us (including Muslims) on the cross!  Let’s see some examples:

“Spend your wealth for the cause of Allah, and be not cast by your own hands to ruin; and do good. Lo! Allah loveth the beneficent.”
Sura 2:195

“So Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah loveth those whose deeds are good.”
Sura 3:148

“They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. Truly Allah loveth those who turn unto Him, and loveth those who have a care for cleanness.”
Sura 2:222

This last ayah alludes to another topic – the “right”, within Islam, of a man to have sexual relations with his wife whenever he wants, whether she agrees or not, whether she is sick or not, whether she is hurt or not – whatever, as long as it has been ordained by their false god.  It says not to go in unto them during their menstrual cycle (and that command is in the Bible as well) but after they are clean the men are allowed to “go in unto them as (the god of Islam) hath enjoined upon you.”  This is indicative of a sick god, providing men the “authority” to have their way with their wives (which includes more than one wife, by the way, plus the slave women that have been captured and those who haven’t even yet reached puberty – see Talking Point #20 and Talking Point #31 for more details about this topic and the sickening way the god of Islam allows men to treat women).  No way this guy can be the same as the God of the Bible!!

But there’s more:

“Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love.”
Sura 19:96

“And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them. And if one party of them doeth wrong to the other, fight ye that which doeth wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah; then, if it return, make peace between them justly, and act equitably. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable.”
Sura 49:9

“And with how many a prophet have there been a number of devoted men who fought (beside him). They quailed not for aught that befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor were they brought low. Allah loveth the steadfast.”
Sura 3:146

“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
Sura 3:31

Now, with this last one I take sincere objection!  This is a Talking Point within a Talking Point.  The god of Islam has just told his followers that if they love him he will love them.  Can you find ANYTHING in the Bible close to this?  Let’s look at a few things that come to mind:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
2nd Chronicles 7:14 (one of my favorites)

What did God (the true God) say to His people?  If His people will do four things, He will love them?  No!  He didn’t hinge His love on their actions – He did, however, hinge salvation (“I will forgive their sin”) and their well-being on their response to Him.  He basically said that if we serve Him, He will protect us.  But He promised His love to the whole world, and then He proved it:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16

And one of my favorites from the Quran that shows how Satan attempts to convey the god of Islam as the God of the Bible is below.  See if you can determine about whom the god of Islam is talking in the following ayah:

“Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will,”
Sura 20:39

Any ideas?  Who from the Bible was thrown into an ark (think “basket”), placed in the river (the River Nile) and was plucked from the water by the enemy of God’s people (the daughter of the Egyptian Pharaoh)?  Yes!  Moses!  The false god of Islam is alluding to Moses and the love he bestowed on him and the training he provided him according to his will.  Let’s have a short lesson in history.

Moses lived approximately 1,400 years before Jesus Christ (of the Bible) came to visit with us.  Today, man dates the calendar based on the life of Jesus Christ – the old fashioned way of saying it is BC and AD, but most scholars today use BCE (before the common era) and CE (common era), both still revolving around the time of Jesus!  Now, hold onto your seat:  Muhammad, the pedophile prophet of Islam, was supposedly born in the 500′s CE and died around 632 CE – over 600 years after the life of Jesus!  In that time, he wrote and gave the world the filth that we now call the Quran.

Did you pick up on the point there?  The Quran didn’t exist until roughly 2,000 years AFTER the life of Moses!  Yet within its pages, the false god of Islam claims that he bestowed love upon and trained Moses.  I don’t think so.  I think Moses never had the problem of hearing about Islam (although he certainly had knowledge of other false gods promoted by Satan as well, so there was probably very little difference).  But he didn’t serve and receive training from the god of Islam!

We’re going to wrap this up soon, but I have one more very important aspect of the love of the god of Islam that must be shared with you.  In the following ayah, the god of Islam makes it clear that the follower who commits jihad will obtain his affection:

“Lo! Allah loveth them who battle for His cause in ranks, as if they were a solid structure.”
Sura 61:4

As I told you in Talking Point #8 and Talking Point #17, there is only one sure way to make it to paradise upon your demise if you are Muslim – to die for him in battle for his ways.  The poor Muslim has no other way to be SURE that he will attain salvation.

The love of the god of Islam exists only for those who do things for him.  He must believe in “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.”  Through his conditional offering of love, the god of Islam proves that he is not the same as the God of the Bible.  Love is not inherent in the religion political system of Islam because their examples, the god of Islam and the pedophile prophet, didn’t show it.  Since they follow by example, we shouldn’t expect to see it exhibited today.

Getting close to the end of this post, just as one more proof of the True Love of God of the Bible, I need to draw your attention again to the passage I posted above from 1st Corinthians 13.  Please move back to that passage now and re-read it, and think about what it says about the unconditional nature of the Love of the True God of the Bible.  You’ve seen the notes from the Quran now; compare them to how Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, described the love of God to the church at Corinth.  Can they compare?  No.  Could they have both come from the same inspirational source?  No.  In short, is the god of Islam capable of unconditional love?  No.

Lastly, please go back and review Talking Point #25 in which you will see that “Father” is not one of the 99 names of the god of Islam.  There is one more thing missing from that list as well:  any referral to love!  You would think, as important as this is to the very essence and nature of the God of the Bible, if He had anything to do with writing the Quran, He would have included this, exemplifying Himself in the same way as He did to the “people of the Book” as the Quran calls us Christians.  The problem with that is, He didn’t have a hand in writing the Quran.  He’s not there.  You can’t find Him because He has nothing to do with evil.  Likewise, you can’t find the real Jesus there either…just some made-up look-alike with the same name, but lacking the Godly nature and the attribute of Love.  No, my friend, don’t ever forget…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Special Point #7 – just a quick pic to keep us alert

We love the people in Islam and want salvation for them as much as any other.  It is the ideology and teachings of the evil book of Islam with which we disagree, and it is the notion that it has any similarity to or with the God of the Bible that we emphatically deny!

The media, the government, and, even worse, the (liberal) churches in America, want you and me to believe that the guy named jesus in the Quran is the same as the Jesus Christ in the Bible.  They want us to believe, above all, that Islam is a religion of peace.  They forget that some of us, including you reading this, *READ for ourselves* and know the difference!

This image gives a quick synopsis of Quran verses that drive the evil we see too many times in the news.  Let it speak for itself, and, combined with the terrorism news you see yesterday, today, and tomorrow, understand that the religion political system of Islam is not of peace but of evil.  It is led by evil and those who read its book and follow its directions commit evil acts, according to what they are told by their false god.

Please read the Talking Points offered within this sight for detailed coverings of the topics about which you will read in the news and hear about from pastors trying to mislead you.  Be armed with knowledge – take the below image as a starting point and learn more from there.

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #71 – there is no salvation in the blood of jesus (of the Quran)

Of all the Talking Points offered here about the differences between the God of the Bible and the god of Islam, the religion of Christianity and the religion political system of Islam, and, especially, the Jesus of the Bible and the jesus of the Quran, this one could very well have come first, or at least much earlier.  This is the one that should make all the “common ground” folks take notice and pull back heretical writings and teachings about the sameness of the two gods.  But don’t hold your breath.

The guy named jesus in the Quran cannot save.  His blood is worthless.  His blood is, in fact, dead (see Talking Point #27).

There.  Done.

Well, no, not really.  We’re not done.  We have to prove the assertions that we make, so let’s look into both the Bible and the Quran.  First, the Bible.  Following are quotes from that Bible the prove salvation is through the blood of Jesus (of the Bible, of course).  The first quotes below lay the foundation for our salvation (or redemption as Paul calls it, and cleansing according to John):

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Hebrews 9:22

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
1st John 1:7

Of course this goes hand-in-hand with the “Christian’s bar of soap” two verses later:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1st John 1:9

So John makes it clear that the blood of Jesus WASHES away our sin!  Without such cleansing, there is no redemption, no justification, no salvation, no anything…just lost in sin.  But Paul goes on to tell us other things about the saving (justifying) quality of the blood of Jesus (again, of the Bible, of course):

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Romans 5:8-9

“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Ephesians 1:5-7

Turning our attention back to John, in his vision that he penned for us called the Book of Revelation, in the opening lines, as he explains to Whom the Revelation is being given, he repeats the importance of the blood:

“Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”
Revelation 1:5b

Ah, the blood.  The wonderful, wonderful blood.  Nothing but the blood of Jesus!  Recall for a moment the old hymn titled “There is Power in the Blood”, and see if you can apply the following from that song to the jesus in the Quran (hint – you cannot!):

Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.

I think it’s obvious that jesus in the Quran cannot come close to matching what Jesus Christ has done for us.  No one else has the precious blood, the most wonderful substance in the world, so great, in fact, that God Himself used it in the form of His Son shedding it on the cross for you and me, Christian.  It was the very best that He had to offer.  Much like the offerings He asked of our ancestors – He asked that they pick the very best, the one without blemish to be offered to Him.  And He repaid with His very best One without blemish.  And He did it for you.  And He did it for me.  And He caused the shedding of the blood of His Son for the Muslim too, but not through an imposter named Isa (jesus of the Quran).  He didn’t shed it so that the “common ground” Chrislam folks could trample it under foot applying its same life-giving qualities to the mere common, and now-dead, blood of “another jesus” (see 2nd Corinthians 11:4).

Let’s turn our attention to the Quran and, specifically, jesus in the Quran, and let’s examine his blood for the qualities important to us today (whether we are Christian or Muslim).  First, let me share with you the fact that the Quran claims that one of its primary functions is to both confirm and to help the Muslim understand the prior Scriptures (the Book as it is called, meaning the Bible).

“And this Qur’an is not such as could ever be invented in despite of Allah; but it is a confirmation of that which was before it and an exposition of that which is decreed for mankind – Therein is no doubt – from the Lord of the Worlds.”
Sura 10:37

You also need to know that Islam rejects the notion of blood sacrifice and atonement for sin (you should be getting nervous already if you were hoping this story would apply any life-giving qualities of blood under the Islamic religion political system).  The Quran offers a salvation by works that denies the very heart and essence of both the Torah and the Gospel.  The shedding of blood plays no part in salvation, unless, of course, the Muslim arrives as a martyr, having shed the blood of his enemy(ies).  All others have their works weighed against each other and, hopefully, if the good works outweigh the bad, he’s admitted to paradise.  Wow!

But in reality, the Quran itself is vague, incoherent and contradictory on how one gets to paradise.  Yes, there are ayat (verses) that purport arrival through good works:

“And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) unto those who believe and do good works; that theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow; as often as they are regaled with food of the fruit thereof, they say: this is what was given us aforetime; and it is given to them in resemblance. There for them are pure companions; there for ever they abide.”
Sura 2:225

There are others, but this post is going to cover so much ground, I want to move on to all the other variances in the Quran, such as salvation granted solely through the grace of the god of Islam:

“O ye who believe! follow not Satan’s footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of God on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but God doth purify whom He pleases: and God is One Who hears and knows (all things).”
Sura 24:21

Earlier I mentioned that the Muslim will have his good deeds weighed against his bad; in fact, the Quran advocates that not doing bad deeds (that’s a negative, staying away from bad deeds, an OMISSION rather than a COMMISSION) will make, in and of itself, atonement for sins:

“If ye avoid great sins from which ye are forbidden, we will cover your offences and make you enter with a noble entrance.”
Sura 4:31

Well that’s cool, isn’t it?  I mean, according to that, all the Muslim has to do is avoid the major sins (as if one was greater than another – see James 2:10) and his lesser sins will be forgiven.  If one really believes this, couldn’t they gain entry to paradise without ever having come to know jesus (of the Quran)?  Doesn’t this go completely contrary to every Biblical understanding of the need for Jesus (of the Bible) to have done what He did for all of us (even the Muslim)?  Even Protestants who teach/preach no need to obey the laws of God (of the Bible) understand the need for blood atonement, even if they do accept it without ever striving for a personal, intimate relationship with Him; none believe in a works-based salvation of mere avoidance for cleansing.  So, how is it, again, that this book was written by the same God as the God of the Bible?  Did He just change His mind?  No, this god is false and is luring people down the wrong path.

Now, don’t get this “no blood in Islam” thing wrong.  Of course blood is used in their religion political system.  This post is emphasizing the fact that blood is not integral in the atonement, or salvation, aspect of the religion, but it certainly has its place in the ceremonies!  Camel, for example, is specifically called for in sacrifices (and you thought I was going somewhere awful with this part – that’s the next paragraph!)   According to Ibn Ishaq’s “The Life of Muhammad“, page 466, Muhammad had a hard time winning over Jews during his “ministry” because he offered camels as sacrifices.  Because the Jews knew that the camel was an unclean animal, they disagreed with Muhammad using it as a sacrifice (and rightfully so – it was against the law of God).  This disagreement was so bad that at one point, Muhammad beheaded all the male members of the Qurayza tribe over the differences.  He simply had no use for a people who would continue to follow God’s law when he was there telling them to do something different.  This site is not focusing on the pedophile false prophet, but if it was, I’d have to ask here:  how is it that Muhammad can even possibly be seen as one following God (of the Bible)?  No way.

Oh yes, they surely believe in blood!  The shedding of blood is crucial in the severing of enemies’ heads and other body parts, and it certainly plays a key role in the slaughter of animals as they are sacrificed to the god of Islam in halal slaughter.  As the animal lies writhing in pain and suffering from drowning in its own blood, they relish the blood as it covers the floors.   For the sake of time and space, I’m not going to cover halal foods here, but will refer you to the Special Point #1 that supports many of the Talking Points offered here.  Suffice it to say here, preparing an animal for consumption in the halal manner is critical to the Muslim lifestyle.

To begin closing this argument, let’s look at a very special time in the life of God’s (of the Bible) people and how blood literally affected their lives.  We read the story in the Book of Exodus, known as The Passover:

“The LORD said to Moses, ‘Yet one plague more I will bring upon Pharaoh and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence; when he lets you go, he will drive you away completely’… And Moses said, ‘Thus says the LORD: About midnight I will go forth in the midst of Egypt; and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sits upon his throne, even to the first-born of the maidservant who is behind the mill; and all the first-born of the cattle. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has never been, nor ever shall be again. But against any of the people of Israel, either man or beast, not a dog shall growl; that you may know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel. And all these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down to me, saying, `Get you out, and all the people who follow you.’ And after that I will go out.’ And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.” Exodus 11:1, 4-8

“The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, ‘This month shall be for you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year for you. Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month they shall take every man a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household; and if the household is too small for a lamb, then a man and his neighbor next to his house shall take according to the number of persons; according to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old; you shall take it from the sheep or from the goats; and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall KILL their lambs in the evening. Then they shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat them. They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat any of it raw or boiled with water, but roasted, its head with its legs and its inner parts. And you shall let none of it remain until the morning, anything that remains until the morning you shall burn. In this manner you shall eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste. It is Yehovah’s passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD.  The blood shall be a sign for you, upon the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall fall upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. This day shall be for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD; throughout your generations you shall observe it as an ordinance for ever’… Then Moses called all the elders of Israel, and said to them, ‘Select lambs for yourselves according to your families, and KILL the passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood which is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. For the LORD will pass through to slay the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to slay you. You shall observe this rite as an ordinance for you and for your sons for ever. And when you come to the land which the LORD will give you, as he has promised, you shall keep this service. And when your children say to you, “What do you mean by this service?” you shall say, “It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he slew the Egyptians but spared our houses.”‘ And the people bowed their heads and worshiped…
Exodus 12:1-14, 21-27

Blood.  Blood made quite a difference to God’s people that night.  Those who were not His were in for a rough night as they lost their firstborn.  But God’s people were safe because they were “covered” by the blood, a type or a model of the covering we enjoy now as Christians “covered” by the blood of Jesus Christ as He shed it for us on the cross.  You see, only His blood can save.  Only His blood can cleanse.  Only His blood has power over death.  The guy named jesus in the Quran can’t say that (or, couldn’t say that – remember that he’s dead (DBUH)).  He means no more than any other man to ever walk the earth, and Islam agrees!  It doesn’t even try to apply the miracle of salvation to him.  In this entire post, nothing can be refuted nor will an Islamist attempt to do so.  They have never insinuated that their jesus has power of salvation.  This is one of those “Ah ha!” moments in the study life of the Christian, one of those times when you can see clearly that the “Chrislam” folks have indeed led you astray.

You cannot find salvation in the Quran, Christian.  The entire book is written by one (mad)man bent on your destruction.  The spirit behind the writing of the Quran has made it “almost” alike in order to turn the less Biblically educated away from God and to another false god.

But wait, there’s more!  To explain the lack of blood for atonement in Islam, Islamists will tell you (and Chrislam folks will surely allow it to be) that the god of Islam simply abrogated the blood as no longer necessary.  Hit the link for the word abrogation and recall that it means something that has been replaced, and it is supposed to replace that something with something better.  So what could be better than the blood of Jesus (of the Bible)?  Well, nothing of course, and the Quran fails to offer anything.  Rather than prove abrogation, the Quran merely contradicts the Bible and offers nothing in the place of the blood that is *not* required for salvation by their plan.  In short, God had no part in writing the Quran…that’s why it isn’t holy.  God had no part in the design of the schemes planned in the Quran, the ones that will trick believers into lives of death and hell.  And indeed, schemes are what they are, posited by the greatest schemer of them all:

“And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers.”
Sura 3:54

Let the Quran speak for itself – the god of Islam is a schemer.  The spiritual power behind the god of Islam is one of sin and deceit.  I went into detail on this in Talking Point #5 – please go there and refresh yourself on that TP now if you need to.

This has been a long post.  But considering the weight that the blood of Jesus (of the Bible) carries, don’t you think that it should have been?  There is much at stake when you begin a ministry on the notion that all gods are the same.  I have heard it said, “There is only one God, therefore, because the god of Islam is A god, he must be THE God.”   How idiotic, blasphemous, and dangerous a position that is!  In the Book of 2nd Kings, in Chapter 17 alone there are at least six other gods mentioned as being worshipped by those people in the land after the Israelites were taken captive.  If all gods were the same, would this matter?  Would it matter to God Himself?  If all roads do indeed end up at the same place, would it matter which you took to get there?

Folks, please understand the seriousness of a teaching like this one.  Some things are simply not replaceable and the blood of Jesus Christ (of the Bible) is one of them.  The guy named jesus in the Quran is not the Savior.  His blood is dead and worthless – no equality with God whatsoever!  Regardless of which parts of the Quran the “schemer” makes to sound like it is something of God of the Bible, it is not.  It is a luring trap for the Christian (and the Muslim) to ensure an eternity of death and suffering.  It is an “almost-the-same” lookalike but with glaring differences if you have eyes to see and ears to hear.  Open both, and realize that the god of Islam is not the same as the God of the Bible.  The guy named jesus in the Quran is not your Savior and never shed a drop of blood for you, Christian…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #70 – jesus (of the Quran) has no bride

There is no bride in Islam

This may be long post, but well worth it.  With each piece of evidence that I believe will solidify the message of difference between the God of the Bible and the god of Islam, between the Holy Bible and Holy Quran, and between Jesus of the Bible and jesus of the Quran, it’s easy to tell myself “this is the final piece that will say it all!”, but there always seems to come out yet another solid piece of evidence.  This time, it’s coming in the fact that the Quran, and the entire message of Islam, is missing it’s Bride!

And actually, considering the idea of justification (salvation) and where one will spend eternity, the idea of the Bride is very important.

If you have not yet done so, please read Talking Point #20, Talking Point #31, and Talking Point #40 for descriptions of how women are treated in Islam.  Remember, this current Talking Point doesn’t apply only to women, though – we’re looking at this “bride” thing from a Biblical perspective versus the Quranic perspective.  We’re talking about being a bride, not being a woman, but because Islam doesn’t have the concept of “the Bride of Christ”, we have to look at how women are treated in the Quran to get the concept of how meaningless women and, therefore, brides, are in Islam.  Shameful…

Let’s talk about Jesus of the Bible first (since He should always be first).  Jesus loves you, enough so that He died on the cross for you (see Talking Point #8).  But do you know why He died for you, Christian?  Unlike the god of Islam who wants you to die for him, the God of the Bible (Jesus Himself!) died for you because He would rather die for you than to spend eternity without you!  It all points to His love for you!  Just like Adam and Eve in Genesis – when Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, Adam followed and ate it too.  Have you ever stopped to think why he would do that?  He knew better.  He could have turned to God and said “Hey Sir, this woman you gave me…she ate the fruit and is going to die but I don’t want to die with her.  Can you make me another one?”  But he didn’t do that.  He CHOSE, on PURPOSE, to follow suit, eat, and die with her.  You see, he LOVED her so much that he CHOSE to die for her than to spend eternity without her.  Go ahead…read the account in Genesis again and see if that isn’t what happened.  Prove it wrong.  You can’t.  Adam was a “type” or a “model” of Jesus Christ (of the Bible).  He’s called the first Adam and Jesus is the last Adam.  This is a Biblical concept that you need to understand in order to truly see what God has laid out for us in His Word.

But what about the bride?  What does the Bible say about the bride?  Well, the Talking Points linked above give you plenty of Biblical proof of the importance of the bride and, even more important, the way men are supposed to treat their wives in a marriage.  But did you know that the entire concept of salvation and relationship with God (of the Bible) is modeled by the marriage?  I mean, the marriage is a “type” or “model” of our relationship with God just as Adam is a type of Jesus (of the Bible).  Looking at what Adam did shows us what Jesus would later do; looking at the marriage today shows us the kind of relationship God (of the Bible) wants to have with us on an individual basis.  The way men are instructed to take care of and protect their wives is a model of how God wants to take care of and protect us!  Heck, if we seek Him truly (and aren’t satisfied with being spoon-fed each Sunday morning), we may even have the opportunity (for REAL!) to be a part of the “Bride of Christ” and attend the wedding supper of the Lamb!  How cool would that be?  And it’s available to you – all you need do is ask and live a life in accordance with the “will of the Father.”

Did you ever receive a love letter back in school?  You know, the cute girl or the good looking boy across the room wrote you and said how they’d like to get to know you better, or, if you were dating, maybe a true LOVE LETTER that stated how he/she felt about you as a part of his/her life?  Did you begin reading it in the middle?  Did you read one or two sentences and then put it aside for later?  I bet not!  I bet you read it from top to bottom, side to side, up and down, all over and then you did it again!  You may even still have it!  But the point is, it was real to you and it meant a lot…so you cherished it.  I’m going somewhere with this.

Did you know that the Holy Bible is a Love Letter?  Did you know that the Bridegroom has written to you and has poured in all of His feelings of love and adoration for you?  Did you know that He has gone out of His way to provide for you an avenue by which you can be with Him for eternity?  In fact, did you know that He, like His type, Adam, wanted so desperately to be with you forever that He CHOSE to die for you rather than spend eternity without you?  Think about that for a few seconds:  He could have easily said “This bride has eaten the fruit of sin and is going to die but I don’t want to die with her…I think I’ll make another one.”  But He didn’t.  He CHOSE to die on the cross for you so that He could make a way for you to approach Him and commit to an intimate relationship with Him as the Son of God (of the Bible).  He is your Bridegroom.  He has written to you a Love Letter in the form of the Holy Bible and you should cherish it much greater than anything you’ve received from any other human in your lifetime.

What about this “I’ll make another one” thought.  He did create you, you know.  The Book of John shows us this:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:1-3

Then compare that to Genesis:

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1

So the Word of God, Jesus Christ (of the Bible), created, according to John, “all things.”  John also tells us in verse 1 that the Word of God WAS God, so when Genesis says that “In the beginning, God created…”, it was Jesus (of the Bible) doing the creating!  Your bridegroom created all that you see, including you!  (Give that one to your teacher the next time Evilution comes up in class!)

And He loves you and He wants you to love Him!

So where does the idea of His being a Bridegroom come into play?  Well, all of Scripture (Bible) is written about Him, so it’s found in many places.  But without the time for in-depth Bible Studies right now, let’s take the easy road and look in the Book of Revelation.  In Revelation we see a picture of end-time events that will surely take place.  In those events, Jesus is referred to as the “Bridegroom” and we, those who show our love for Him by hearing, understanding, and obeying Him, will be adorned as the Bride at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (read Revelation 19 for details).

He loves us and invites us to join Him in eternal paradise using the marriage as the example for that relationship.  The Bride, as she is called in Revelation, must ready herself for Him, by walking with Him and walking in righteousness and in the way of the Word of God.  The Bride must ready herself by knowing and following the Word of God.  The Bride must ready herself by truly seeking Him daily, and by imitating Him in all aspects of life.  The Bride is set apart; she must act like it.

There is no bride in Islam.

In fact, the jesus in the Quran is never prophesied as coming back to accept his bride.  There is no personal relationship between him and anyone else, either recorded in the Quran or prophesied to occur later.  He was “no more than a messenger” (see Talking Point #69).  Not only does this imply, as is stated in Talking Point #69, that he was not God, but it also means that he was not / is not / is not going to be a bridegroom.  Like the unknowable god of Islam, jesus (of the Quran) is not knowable (in fact, he’s dead and, if he never accepted Jesus Christ of the Bible as his Savior, he’s lost and in Hell) and there is no promise of his return to assume a role of the bridegroom for the Muslim followers of the world.

There is no bride in Islam.

Muslim men and women do get married.  In fact, in your previous readings of the other Talking Points noted in this one, you should have learned that the men in the marriage “own” their wives much like property.  Wait…much like property?  No, I meant to the women ARE property.   The title of “tilth”, the highest form of property ownership, is applied to the woman and she has severely denigrated rights and abilities as a human being while on this earth in Islam.  If the God of the Bible set up the marriage as a “type” or “model” of the relationship He wants to have with us, why would He have given such a different “type” to the Muslim?  You know that answer…you know He wouldn’t have!

In fact, if the marriage is any form of what to expect in later life or afterlife in Islam, there is nothing even remotely similar to love and adoration as can be found in the Love Letter of the Holy Bible.  Islam paints a picture of despair and depravity; not one of love.  What a “type” the god of Islam offers – nothing like the beautiful picture painted by the God of the Bible.

No, the bride in Islam is nothing more than property to be treated poorly at the judgment of the man.  It is even common practice in Islam for men to have multiple wives, so how can the marriage be a type of a special, loving relationship?  It cannot be.  The truth is that love hardly exists in Islam, at least as given by its god.  And there is good reason for that.

Love can only come from good.  Jesus (of the Bible) told us about good:

“And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Matthew 19:17

So why should we expect anything any different?  He told us here that there is only one good, and that is God (of the Bible).  Knowing that Jesus IS God helps us, then, to understand that His nature is good and loving, and He has given so much to be our Bridegroom.  The guy named jesus in the Quran has the same name, but he lacks ALL of the attributes of a loving God and Savior.  What more proof do we need that…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #69 – jesus (of the Quran) is not God

In order to be a servant of Jesus Christ (of the Bible), you must believe that, not only is He the Son of God (see Talking Point #1), but that He *is* God.  If you don’t believe that, you don’t believe what the Bible plainly says about Him.  Let’s see some proof.

For starters, I like to point out the amazing (but all too often overlooked) comparison between the opening verses of the Book of John and the open verse of Genesis:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:1-3

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1

It’s pretty clear that Jesus Christ (the Word as He is called in John) *was* (and still is) God, and He created everything.  He did not come about as a being when He was born to Mary and Joseph in what we call the New Testament – He existed before eternity and He created everything you see and know today.  He is God!  We could, in effect, translate Genesis 1:1 as follows:

“In the beginning Jesus created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1

Currently, our home ministry, Learning to Serve Ministries, is conducted a series titled “Do you believe Yeshua is God?” in which we are going through multiple study sessions proving the deity of Jesus (of the Bible) (Here’s the link to the first part on Godtube and you can follow the others from there).  He can be found in every book of the Bible, in fact, on every page.  We read the following story of when He was walking with the disciples on the road to Emmaus:

“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”
Luke 24:25-27

He also told the Jews:

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
John 5:39

How much more clear could He have been?  It is He of whom the Scriptures are written.  Reading Scripture, both Old and New Testaments (remember, when He uttered these words, there was no “New Testament” as we call it – there was only “Scriptures” as He put it (what we call today the Old Testament)), will lead you to Him.  There is no one else represented there.  It points to God.  It points to Jesus (of the Bible).

So what about the guy named jesus as found in the Holy Quran?  The book is so full of misleading notes about jesus (of the Quran), as to make it almost impossible to distinguish between the two (Jesus of the Bible and jesus of the Quran).  But in the follow quotes, although I never ascribe anything the book says about the false jesus to Jesus Christ of the Bible, even if it were speaking of Jesus Christ of the Bible, it is showing its true intent with His nature when it says:

Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God makes His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!”
Sura 5:75

Look also here:

“And behold!  God will say [i.e. on the Day of Judgment]: ‘Oh Jesus, the son of Mary!  Did you say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God?’  He will say: ‘Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say).  Had I said such a thing, You would indeed have known it.  You know what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Yours.  For You know in full all that is hidden.  Never did I say to them anything except what You commanded me to say: ‘Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.’  And I was a witness over them while I lived among them.  When You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a witness to all things’”
Sura 5:116-117

Even if the Quran were speaking of the True Jesus Christ (of the Bible), it would here be admitting that they see Him as less than God!  He is, according to the Quran itself, “no more than a messenger.”  If you believe that God is more than a messenger, He is, according to the Quran itself, not God.  I don’t know about you, reader, but I don’t worship messengers.  I worship God.  Of the Bible.  Period.

I have to tell you, God (of the Bible – the Only God) wants and expects your love above all else.  I know this because He, when He was here in the flesh, told us:

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law?  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.”
Matthew 22:36-38

Trying to prove that the god of Islam is the same as the God of the Bible, is simply NOT loving the Lord your God with all your heart.  Jesus goes on to say:

“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Matthew 22:39

Today, the church is so caught up in the second commandment that they willingly see right past, and therefore ignore, the first.  The main reason for this site is that the church is willingly accepting that Islam is led by and Muslims worship the same God as the God of the Bible.  As a result of this, they are willing to witness to Muslims using jesus of the Quran as their primary witness tool and lead anyone listening, Muslim or Christian, down a false road.  We SHOULD witness to Muslims – yes!  But we have to witness to them with the Truth, down the road that leads to Jesus of the Bible.  A road that does not lead to Jesus of the Bible is a dead end.  I’m posting the sign right here.

Just like their Bibles, the church is guilty of not reading the Quran to see the differences.  Regardless of the topic, one will not be able to truly discuss it or apply it to life if they have not read it; I have and I want to share the Truth of the Bible, along with truth of Quran, with you.  Do not be fooled by a look-alike religion political system.  Read the Quran and understand that in it you will not find Jesus Christ.  How do I know?  Because He stated that the you must search the Scriptures to find Him.  Jesus is God.  jesus of the Quran is not.  I know, then, that God (of the Bible) is not in the Quran, because…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #68 – no forgiveness in Islam

The bible says, quite unequivocally, that forgiveness is only possible through the shedding of blood.  It began in Eden after Eve ate of the forbidden fruit and then shared it with Adam.  In Genesis chapter 3 we read the account of the temptation by the serpent (the same force that is behind Islam today, with the same temptation to disobey God as is present today).  After the acceptance and eating of the fruit, Adam and Eve were ashamed, aware of their nakedness, and they hid themselves.  You probably know the rest of the story, how God came looking for them and they did not want to see Him face to face.  He was angry with them for what they had done, but then He did something for them – He gave them covering (clothes), and provided a way back to Him:

“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all livingUnto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.  And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”
Genesis 3:20-22

But have you really stopped to think about what it took for them to have a covering?  Too many times we glance over it too quickly.  Let’s look at this intensely for a moment.

Eve was named “Eve” because, Scripture says, she was the mother of ALL LIVING.  Then we’re told that God made for them coats of skins.  Where did God get the skins?  He had to kill something in order to get the skins.  Because of their sin, the mother of all living had to wear skin that came from an animal that, up until then, she had had responsibility for.  She was the mother of ALL LIVING.  Now that doesn’t mean or imply that she was literally the animals’ mother; it implies that she had dominion over them (with her husband), and that their lives were in her hands!  She not only let down herself; she let down the animals that would forever be killed in order to provide clothing for us!

But there’s a second part to the providing of skins – the shedding of blood.  Shedding of blood was now necessary and it had never been necessary to that point.  Death had entered because of their sin and death would reign over humans and animals until finally defeated on the cross many, many years later.  Death and blood now played a key role in the “covering” of sin.  Death and blood would remain a part of the covering of sin for many years.

Throughout the years between this incident in the Garden of Eden to Jesus’ (of the Bible) accomplishment on the cross, sin was continually covered by the shedding of blood.  Leviticus outlines the sacrifices required for God’s (of the Bible) chosen people.  Blood played the most key role; they were never allowed to forget that their sin caused other animals, innocent animals, to die in their place.

Then one day, God died in their place!  You see, blood was required to cover man’s sin, and then one day, on a cross in Jerusalem, blood was finally shed that not only “covered” man’s sins, but provided forgiveness for those sins as well.  Up until this time, the shedding of innocent blood had been required but it merely “covered”, or rolled back the sin; sacrifices on the altar never provided forgiveness but a mere delay in judgment (I guess that’s the best way I can say it).  The sin was not “forgiven”, “forgotten”, or otherwise dismissed – it was rolled back for another year; all sin was still to be judged and forgiveness for those sins would come only with the shedding of the MOST INNOCENT blood in the form of God Himself hanging from a tree in the most memorable event in the history of mankind.

Paul tells us about what this blood means to us (and to our ancestors).  He verifies what I’m telling you now, that without this shedding of blood, forgiveness is not possible:

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Hebrews 9:22

Islam would have you believe that this event never occurred.

Islam teaches that Jesus (of the Bible) was not crucified!  Islam says that another was crucified in His place and the the god of Islam simply took Jesus up into Heaven:

“And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.   ut Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise.”
Sura 4:157-158

They deny the crucifixion of the One Whose blood was the MOST INNOCENT and through Whom all forgiveness is possible.  Without this one event in history, there is NO FORGIVENESS!  You, Christian, can have no forgiveness without this, and Islam is content to make you believe that the crucifixion was a hoax.

Of course the Holy Quran says that the god of Islam is a forgiving god.  Below is just one example (I’ll let you look up more about this on your own);

“And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you ? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
Sura 24:22

But think about it for a moment:  if the Holy Bible says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin, and knowing what you know about the blood of Jesus (of the Bible) and its atoning qualities unmatched by any other blood, then, if the Quran denies that He was crucified, the Quran also denies the existence of any forgiveness!  Whoa!

What we have just pieced together is this:  The Holy Quran says that the god of Islam is a forgiving god.  The same book says that Jesus was not crucified (remember that they would have you believe that when it speaks of jesus it is speaking of Jesus of the Bible).  Without His crucifixion, there is no forgiveness – so the Quran must be, at this point in our understanding, stating that the god of Islam is different from the God of the Bible!  In other words, from the Islamic point of view, forgiveness doesn’t come through or from Jesus Christ (of the Bible), but it comes from their god.  I see this as an admission of difference between the two gods.  This time, the taqiyya has caught up to them!

This difference is what I’ve been saying all along – that you cannot open the Holy Quran and have success looking for and finding God (of the Bible).  He isn’t there!  There is a god there, but he’s fake, false, and unable to forgive, regardless of what his book says.  Forgiveness only comes by One, and you won’t find mention of Him in the Quran, because…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #67 – no law outside of shariah

In Matthew, Jesus Christ (of the Bible) stated that He was the fulfillment of the law:

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
Matthew 5:17-18

Now we could talk about these verses for a long time but I’m going to keep it short while giving you something to ponder for your own learning sake.  First of all, let me point out that the church today is doing exactly half of what Jesus (of the Bible) says here – they think not!  The church is guilty of not reading the Bible and understanding what the One they claim to serve has said to them.  He clearly stated that He is the fulfillment of the law and the prophets, meaning that, and in agreement with several places in the Scripture, He is the One about Whom the law and prophets spoke!

When walking with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, Jesus (of the Bible), after His resurrection, gave the men a Bible study all about Himself using nothing but what we refer to today as the Old Testament Scriptures!  We pick up the story well after He had approached them and heard their tale of what had happened in Jerusalem just three days earlier.  Have a look at this:

“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”
Luke 24:25-27

So here, Jesus (of the Bible) clearly annotates that the Scriptures are about Him and that He is the fulfillment of the law, the embodiment of the law, the Writer of the law, the law in its essence!  He is the law and the law is not done away with.

There are other places in Scripture where we read that Scripture is all about Him, for example:

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
John 5:39

I’ll let the diligent Bible student do his/her own research to find other places like this.  In fact, this is one of the best Bible studies one can do – to look for and find Him on every page of the Bible!!  In fact, all 66 books of the Holy Bible truly do speak of Jesus Christ (of the Bible, obviously)!  He is the very essence of all that is Holy and Good, and all that is God and that is from God, including the law by which we all must live (not for salvation, mind you, we’ll talk more about that in the next post).

But in the first quote above, Jesus (of the Bible) went on to say something which leads me to my decision that the church is guilty of “thinking not”.  He went on to say that “one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”  Well I have to ask, has all been fulfilled?  Not so that you could recognize it any way!  Make your own decision, then, about obedience and the law’s application to your life today.  Is He the law?  I think so.  Please study this more on your own as well.  And think…don’t be guilty of mindlessly following the crowd and “thinking not.”

Now lets see what Islam says about the law.  If you’ve read many of the previous posts from this site then you know of The Reliance of the Traveller, the book we’ve cited before for the traveling Muslim to use as his guidance of the law.  It is, essentially, the law book of Islam.  You can learn more about it by reading Talking Point #9, Talking Point #15, Talking Point #29, and Talking Point #40.  The book is billed as “A Classic Manual of Islam Sacred Law.”  I’m not kidding with you…go get a copy for yourself (search Amazon for it or just use the link I provided about and download the whole book in Adobe pdf format).  Read it for yourself.

I once knew a pastor who, rightfully so, told us how to recognize a cult.  First, they make Jesus less than deity (well, as we’ve pointed out before, in Islam, jesus (of the Quran) is not God, not the Son of God (see Talking Point #1), and not deity but merely a “messenger”).  Second, they need something, anything, besides (or sometime in addition to) the Bible to make their points!  The writings of Joseph Smith, for example, added into the Bible for the Mormon constitute something outside of the Bible from which the followers derive doctrine.  That’s scary!!

I don’t need to go much further, do I?  You’re already starting to see the point of this whole post, aren’t you?  If Jesus Christ (of the Bible) *is* the law and He specifically told us to “search the Scriptures for in them ye find me…“, how could the god of Islam need a separate book to outline the law to his followers?  If jesus (of the Quran) is the same as Jesus in the Bible, then Islam already has the law in Him.  BUT HE’S NOT!  And therein lies the problem with Islam (or one of the problems with Islam) – it is about lies and not about Truth.

The law was given to us even before God literally wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets of stone at Mount Sinai.  The law existed before the beginning of time because, as John says in his opening lines,

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:1-3

The law is written in the hearts of those who have accepted the call to service to the King!

“I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.”
Psalm 40:8

If it’s in the heart and we have it seen it expounded from the Old Testament Scriptures, why would we need something else?  The answer is, we don’t.  Only the followers of false gods need something else.  Those following false gods need something else because the True God’s Scriptures don’t apply.  It’s as simple as this – if you don’t live in Britain, British laws don’t apply to you, so you need your own set of laws.

In fact, the laws you follow say a lot about the one to whom you are loyal.  If you follow God’s laws (of the Bible), then you are His and your fruits show it.  If you follow the laws of Islam, then you belong to that god and your fruits show it (and the fruits were shown again just yesterday with the bombings at the Boston Marathon).  If your god allows you to lie, you are not serving the God of the Bible.  Look through all the books you have, the Reliance of the Traveller, the Hadith, whatever…you won’t find Him, because…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #66 – vengeance

Ladies and gentlemen, the God of the Bible says:

To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.”
Deuteronomy 32:35

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.”
Psalm 94:1

“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.  Be of the same mind one toward another.  Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate.  Be not wise in your own conceits.  Recompense to no man evil for evil.  Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Romans 12:19

“For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.”
Hebrews 10:30

God (of the Bible) has reserved vengeance for Himself!  That means, to me and you, that we trust Him to fight our battles for us.  His Son, Jesus (of the Bible) instructed us to love, not take vengeance:

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
Matthew 5:43-44

“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.”
Luke 6:27-28

“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.”
Luke 6:35

Did you notice that last verse…he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil?  Who is kind to them?  God (of the Bible)!  Don’t take that to mean that God is a pushover…not at all; but it means that He is kind due to His nature of Love.  When it is time for Him to take His vengeance, He will:

“The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.  It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.  Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.  Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.”
Isaiah 35:1-4

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;”
Isaiah 61:1-2

When Jesus (of the Bible) began His earthly ministry, He opened in the synagogue with these lines.  The scroll was handed to Him and He read from Isaiah 61, verses 1 and 2 (of course, back then, there were no verses as we know them).  When He read these verses, He omitted the part that I have made bold – He didn’t mention vengeance because at that time, it wasn’t the right time for this vengeance to take place.  He was here to bring a personal message of salvation and forgiveness.  But the day is coming when the rest of this passage from Isaiah will be read and will be current, and God (of the Bible) will show His vengeance.  You can read a great deal more about this coming vengeance in the Book of Revelation right now if you want.

So we see God (of the Bible) personally visiting with man in the form of the incarnate Messiah, Jesus (also of the Bible), instructing us to love our enemies and promising us that He will take vengeance for us at the appropriate time.  All we have to do is teach and preach His Word faithfully (with Pure Bible and NO Compromise), live a law-abiding life of worship and adoration, and trust in Him for all of our needs (see Philippians 4:19).

How does all of this compare to the god of Islam and his false jesus?  For starters, if you haven’t already done so, please go read Talking Point #55 on violence.  It goes into some detail about violence in the Islam and in the Bible.  Although the focus here is not necessarily violence but vengeance, it will get you started seeing what has happened throughout history as well as what is happening today.

So let’s take a look at how the god of Islam tells his followers to deal with others.  Did you know that the Holy Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers?  Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels (the Arabic work for infidel is “kafir” – learn it and use it proudly) wherever they may be hiding.  If a Muslim does not join the fight against the infidel he’s called a ‘hypocrite’ and is told that their god will send him to Hell.  What a nice god (he says facetiously).

If you read Talking Point #55 as suggested above, you know that there are verses of violence in the Bible as well, but you also know that they are constrained to certain times and places in history and they are all in the effort to cleanse the land of evil.  There is not one call in the Bible to kill someone simply to kill them.  In Islam, the Jew and the Christian are “up for grabs” for a violent life ending.

Before we give more proof of evil violence and vengeance from the Holy Quran, please remember also the concept of abrogation – that of saying that later verses in the Quran abrogate, or replace, earlier verses.  In other words, the Muslim would have you believe that, because the book contradicts itself, the later, more peaceful and easy-going quotes override or supersede the earlier, more violent verses.  This is how they can say that Islam is a religion political system of peace:  they use abrogation (and taqiyya) to “prove” themselves into being “good.”  But the facts prove otherwise.

Jihad, defined as holy war and an important religious duty of all Muslims, appears 41 times in the Holy Quran.  Generally, jihad takes the form of violence against non-Muslims.  Some imams claim that jihad refers to any type of personal struggle and not necessarily armed conflict (for a prime example of taqiyya (lying) about jihad, visit the “MyJihad” site – it will give you a good laugh if you understand how they lie to make the unsuspecting infidels fall prey to their work).  Imams are constantly issuing fatwas to kill specific non-Muslims.  In practice, many Muslims take up arms against people who will not bow toward Mecca or accept their pedophile prophet Mohammed (DBUH) as being worthy of worship.  Violent acts including murder are only viewed as immoral when committed against fellow Muslims. When violence is perpetrated against the “infidels,” it is considered glorifying to their false god.

As of the date of writing this post there have been 20,640 documented acts of violence committed by the “religion political system of peace” since the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001!  Notice those were “documented” acts – it’s impossible to number the acts that go undocumented but I’m certain the number is 4 to 5 times that high.  There’s a Website dedicated to tracking news in this field:  http://www.thereligionofpeace.com.  Of course the name is a play on the politically correct light in which this system is viewed by the world – it in no way insinuates agreement with Islam as anything peaceful.  I urge you to visit the site often to keep abreast of what Islam brings to the world and to learn to see through the taqiyya when they try to tell you otherwise.

Way back at the beginning of this site and Talking Points we offered Talking Point #8 in which we discussed the god of Islam’s desire that you die for him (unlike, of course, the Jesus of the Bible Whose very mission was to come to Earth and die for YOU).  What kind of god would send his subjects out to die for him?  Does that sound remotely close to the God of the Bible to you?  But it comes directly from their Holy Quran.  Here’s the text, with some additions added by both the English version of the Quran from which I copied this and from myself (in blue) for explanation.

“So, when you meet (in fight – Jihad in Allah’s cause) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks (translation: behead them) till when you have killed and routed many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam and are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire or at least come under your protection (in other words, until they become a dhimmi, a slave, a less-than-human citizen allowed to live in the vicinity of Muslims as long as they pay the Jizyah tax (“Thank you for letting me live” money), never try to witness to a Muslim, build a church for themselves, or any of a long list of forbidden activities), but if it had been Allah’s will, he himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (he lets you fight) in order to test some of you with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, he will never let their deeds be lost. He will guide them and set right their state. And admit them to Paradise which he has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise better than they used to know their homes in the world).”
Sura 47:4-6

Vengeance is present in Islam.  Violence is present in Islam.  Islam is a murderous, hateful religion political system with no resemblance to Christianity.  Chrislam (the combination of Christianity and Islam) does not exist .  The two do not serve the same god.  The God of the Bible is Love.  The god of Islam is hatred.  And there is one reason for the powerful differences between the two (wait for it…this is original)….Islam is missing one Very Important Person:

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #65 – blasphemy

Blasphemy (from the Miriam-Webster Dictionary Online):

1a:   the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God
1b:   the act of claiming the attributes of deity
2:     irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

Blasphemy is from the Greek word blasphemia, which literally means “to speak harm”. From a religious point of view, it generally means the utmost disrespect or defiance toward God.  Toward God.  Toward God.  Toward God.

Have you ever heard of this?  I know you’ve heard the word in church at some time or another.  But have you ever studied this?  How do you know if/when you’ve done it?  How does God (of the Bible) feel about it?  Do you think he feels the same about it as the god of Islam?

“And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.  And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death..”
Leviticus 24:15-16

Man, that sounds harsh, doesn’t it?  Put to death?  Yep!  God (of the Bible) made it a capital crime to blaspheme His Name.  Was this ever taken seriously?  You have to realize that God, in giving His commandments, His teaching and instruction in the Torah, was trying to dissuade certain behavior among His chosen people (which includes the church today).  He set harsh punishments to PRECLUDE the action, not necessarily because He wanted to see people put to death as a RESULT of the action.  Its intent was to put forth such an extreme punishment that no one would even think of doing it.

We also have this commandment:

“Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”
Exodus 20:7

Are they related to each other?  Well, in a way, sure they are; but not in the way you may be thinking.  You see, blasphemy is defined at the beginning of this post for you while this command in Exodus is more of a lifestyle command.  It means, much like women take the name of their husbands when they are married, “don’t take My Name (don’t “marry” Me) and then act like you aren’t Mine.”  In other words, God (of the Bible) is saying here that your salvation comes with a price and you are not allowed to be His and yet still live for the world.  You can read all about this command in Talking Point #54 if you want to, so for right now, let’s dismiss this one and continue with the topic at hand – blasphemy and how God of the Bible feels about it versus how the false god of Islam feels about it.

In the Bible, God considers idolatry blasphemy (“You mean idolatry like teaching Christians that the god of Islam is the same as the God of the Bible?”  Yep – I mean exactly that – worship of and the promoting of worship of a false god).  Look at this example from Ezekiel:

“Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.  For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.  Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.  Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?  For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.”
Ezekiel 20:27-31

Whoa!  He was quite clear that worship not constructed His way or that given to a false god (an idol) is blasphemy!  He doesn’t play around!

But did you know that blasphemy is a forgivable sin?  Of course it is…Paul talked about it:

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
1st Timothy 1:12-14

So Paul, having blasphemed ignorantly, was forgiven for his blasphemy.

But there is one kind of blasphemy that is not forgivable – that of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit:

“Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.”
Mark 3:28-30

“And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.”
Luke 12:10

It would seem God (of the Bible) has His limits on our blasphemy and we should strive to know these limits.  He gave us His Word for a reason so let’s read it and live by it!  And in doing so, we’ll see that there is yet a coming blasphemy greater than any the world has ever seen.  For the sake of time and space, I won’t recount it all here, but you can read about it in the Book of Revelation, chapter 13.

So what about the god of Islam.  Does he endure blasphemy well?  If any of the previous Talking Points have cleared up his position for us, we should know by now that his take on this is going to be different from God’s (of the Bible).

As Shariah law takes hold in more and more Islamic countries (and brace yourself because it’s trying HARD to grow roots here in the United States), blasphemy laws are being enforced more and more.  Does that mean that Muslims are blaspheming their god?  Well, not really.  There is an intensifying, global campaign to impose Islamic blasphemy law on non-Muslims, including those living outside Islamdom, in non-Muslim societies.  In other words, this blasphemy-punishment-on-the-rise is aimed at you, Christian!

“Wait a minute!  We just defined blasphemy as being an insult of or contempt for God!  How can Muslims increase punishment for blasphemy against a Christian?”  Good question!

According to the Sunna (the traditions of Muhammad and the early Muslim community), by using foul language against the Muslim prophet Mohammed, Allah, or Islam,  non-Muslim transgressors put themselves on a war footing against Muslims.  Their very lives were at stake (and are today) for daring to talk in a derogatory manner against…wait…what was that again?  For talking against Mohammed?  I can see a blasphemy restriction for a Muslim who speaks out against his god, but this says for speaking out against Mohammed, a person (and a lying, thieving, pedophile person at that).  And it doesn’t say anything about a Muslim, either!  It says this is happening to non-Muslims.  How can that be?  How can one with no allegiance to the god of Islam possibly be punished for blasphemy against the god of Islam?  That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever; but it’s happening.  Today.

On February 19, 1989, Iranian theocrat Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa condemning author Salman Rushdie to death (along with those involved in the publication of Rushdie’s book, The Satanic Verses), while promising eternal salvation to any Muslim “martyred” in this cause (see Talking Point #8 for more on the only sure way to get to paradise, Muslim style).  To this day, no serious Muslim scholar has challenged the authority of this fatwa.

This orthodox Islamic doctrine has been incorporated into modern Pakistani legal code:

295C: “Use of derogatory remarks, etc; in respect of the Holy Prophet. Whoever by words, either spoken or written or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.”

In Pakistan, this has caused the deaths of many, many Christians.  Shame.

An Egyptian state security court, on November 28, 2012, issued a verdict, which sentenced to death seven expatriate Coptic Egyptians, as well as American pastor Terry Jones, for “blaspheming” Islam.  Egyptian Judge Saif al Nasr Soliman stated plainly when the ruling was issued, “The accused persons were convicted of insulting the Islamic religion through participating in producing and offering a movie that insults Islam and its prophet.”  And please note that this says nothing about blaspheming the god of Islam, only the Islamic religion political system.

Right here in America, the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA), is well-accepted by the mainstream American Muslim community.  The Islamic scholars affiliated with this group have attained influential positions in universities, Islamic centers, and mosques throughout the United States, and train American imams.  Should the mainstream AMJA accomplish its goal of implementing Sharia in North America, the organization has already issued a ruling which sanctions the killing of non-Muslim “blasphemers“, courtesy of AMJA Secretary General Salah al-Sawy.

Lastly, to bring it back to the Muslim camp where it belongs, blasphemy committed by a Muslim is considered apostasy from the Muslim faith, and therefore has been a so-called hadd offense (requiring severe, mandatory punishment), with a requisite death sentence since the advent of Islam.  The poster below says it best from one of their very own.  This is why punishment-by-death exists in Islam; note the difference between “reason” for punishment-by-death in Islam and “punishment-by-death” in the Bible (see the paragraph above that talks about God (of the Bible) trying to dissuade certain illicit behavior):

punishment-by-death

I hope this has helped to clear up the difference (yet again) between the god of Islam and the God of the Bible.  But I do have one more Bible story to tell you today, since we had to speak of the killing of outsiders who talk about (even if truthfully) Islam.  Let’s see how an outsider was treated for talking derogatorily to one of God’s appointed ones in the Scriptures:

“And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.  And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.  And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial: The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.  Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.  And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?  And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.  It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.  And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.”
2nd Samuel 16:5-13

So here we have a story of a man treating a man of God rather cruelly!  And God’s punishment is not to have him destroyed, but to show kindness through His servant David.  Now it is true that, later, the king told his son not to let Shimei live because of his attitude – God had shown him the man’s true heart was deceitful (and so is ours, by the way – see Jeremiah 17:9).  But the story goes to show that followers of God are not necessarily upset when a fellow follower of God is talked to in a rude manner (including, in this case, the throwing of stones).  Yes, God (of the Bible) will order men (and women and children) killed when it is necessary to cleanse evil from the land (look no further than the flood for evidence).  But blasphemy can only be committed against Him and Him alone.

So this is just one more area in which the God of the Bible differs from the god of Islam.  One is purely vicious and evil and One is full of love and kindness.  One wants you to die, period (because he can’t stand the thought that you may one day end up in the presence of the Holy One) while One wants you to experience eternity with Him.  The two gods are not the same and, even though this post didn’t talk directly about Him, …

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!

Talking Point #64 – thou shalt not kill

God (of the Bible) sets the record straight and clear:

Thou shalt not kill
Exodus 20:13

The same command is repeated in Deuteronomy:

Thou shalt not kill
Deuteronomy 5:17

So in keeping with the mission of this ministry, when you hear something like the quote below, you have to listen up and try to determine exactly what it true and what is false, especially when you take into consideration all of the “killing” happening around the world *daily* at the hand of Muslims.  As you read the following, remember two things:  1) taqiyya (see Talking Point #9, Talking Point #32, Talking Point #36, Talking Point #39, and Talking Point #43), and 2) September 11, 2001.  For even more current events on killing sanctioned by and within Islam, visit The Religion of Peace.  The numbers of events will stagger you.

So what is this about killing vs. not killing?  The god of Islam (along with Muslim leaders of today) would love for you to believe that Islam actually teaches *NOT* killing innocent people.  They would love for you to believe that their Holy Quran even teaches not killing innocents.  And this is one of those times where you, Christian, need to sit up and pay special attention.  Even the most “blinded” of folks should be easily able to follow this one.

First, see how well this advertisement sits with you:

noterrorisminislam

Now that you’ve seen that, let’s look into the Quran to see the complete wording:

“For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.”
Sura 5:32

Some things in there should immediately stand out at you.  First, notice to whom this direction was given (as if the children of Israel ever received instruction from the god of Islam).  It applies only to the children of Israel (Israelites, Hebrews); it does *NOT* apply to Muslims!  Why on earth would they bother to make a poster supposedly prohibiting the killing of innocents and using the attack on the World Trade Center as an example, coupled together to prove that Islam was not responsible?  Easy!  Because it is taqiyya and it exists to make those less educated about Islam believe it and to deny the fact that Islam is a religion of hatred and evil!  That’s it.  It exists to create dhimmis (see Talking Point #52, Talking Point #31, Talking Point #29, Talking Point #11, and Talking Point #8) out of you all!  So pay attention – don’t let that happen.

Next, though, notice a word suggested in the advertisement that is conspicuously absent from the Quran verse applied:  innocence.  How many of us believe that the people we watched burn and jump from hundreds of feet up in the towers were innocent?  Of course they were!  Islamists hit them that day with a severe blow that today even churches around our own country are denying as having come from Islam.  This murder is not only allowed by the Muslim but is expressly “approved” for the Muslim in their book.  Does anyone, ANYONE, believe that the Creator God of the Bible wrote such nonsense for another group of people?  No way – the god of Islam is a false black rock in Mecca and their hatred comes from one man who misled so many, so many years ago.  And the deception continues today.

The God of the Bible stated His position on murder clearly and He does not change.

Next, notice also the reasons that a person CAN be killed:  murder and spreading mischief.  Murder I understand (and agree – capital punishment should be retained and used as a deterrent to murder), but “mischief”?  What is that?  Look no further than the very next verse in the Holy Quran:

“The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;
Sura 5:33

There it is!  Mischief in the land is defined as making war against the false god of Islam and his messenger, the pedophile, lying, thieving prophet (DBUH).  According to that, in the political climate of today, even something as small as TELLING THE TRUTH about Islam by quoting from the Holy Quran could be considered mischief if it leads to exposing the evils behind it all.

So let’s wrap this up by nailing the coffin lid shut on this topic:

Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.”
Deuteronomy 27:25

Why do you think the men who flew the planes into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, did what they did?  The answer is deceptively simple:  they did it to guarantee entry to paradise with their god and his messenger (DBUH), and to receive their reward of 72 virgins (problem there, however – no one ever said it would be “female” virgins).  To put it simply, they did it for reward.

Combining this with the Bible verse you just read, does it make any sense at all that the God of the Bible would have sanctioned, in any way, the act that occurred on September 11, 2001, or the thought that He would have given such garbage as approval in the Holy Quran for such acts?  I didn’t think so…

Oh yeah, and then there’s this, from the Book of Psalms:

“Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?  They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.  But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.”
Psalm 94:20-22

I know that the King James version of that doesn’t really help us see how well it fits into this discussion, so let’s do it again, this time in the New Living Translation:

“Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side—leaders whose decrees permit injustice?  They gang up against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.  But the LORD is my fortress; my God is the mighty rock where I hide.”
Psalm 94:20-22 (NLT)

So the bottom line is that Muslims are *NOT* prevented by their god to kill innocent people; and they proved it on September 11, 2001.  They continue to prove it today and every day – you don’t see it because this nation’s media won’t show it.  Why?  I don’t know, and that’s a question for another day and another topic.  But you need to know the truth (and the Truth) and you need to pay attention to what’s happening.  Churches in this nation will have you believe we are all one and the same but we are not.  Shame on them for not teaching/preaching the Truth and sticking with it.  Shame on them for not calling evil, evil.  And shame on anyone who knows the difference but continues to teach sameness of the two gods.  The Creator God of the Bible did not give the Unholy Quran to Muslims.  Because of that, there is no mention of His Son, Jesus Christ.  To put it simply,…

Jesus is NOT in the Quran!
